• Accommodation preference (Hotels / Airbnb / Hostels / No Preference)

How We Use This Information:

• This information is processed locally on your computer
• It is sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) to generate your personalized itinerary
• We do NOT store this information on our servers
• We do NOT create profiles or track your travel history

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Triplanner does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Payment information
• Device identifiers or location data
• Browsing history or usage patterns
• Any information beyond what you enter to generate an itinerary

4. Third-Party AI Processing

To generate your itinerary, your travel preferences are sent to AI service providers (OpenAI and/or Anthropic). These services:

• Process your inputs to create personalized travel recommendations
• Are governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Storage and Retention

Local Storage Only:

• Generated itineraries are stored only on your computer
• No data is uploaded to cloud servers or external databases
• When you uninstall Triplanner, all local data is removed

No Account or Login:

• Triplanner does not require account creation
• We do not maintain user profiles or histories

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect data during transmission to AI services, including encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete Itineraries: You can delete saved itineraries at any time from your computer
• Uninstall: Uninstalling Triplanner removes all local data
• Opt-Out: Simply stop using the App if you do not wish to send travel preferences to AI services

8. Children's Privacy

Triplanner does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is intended for users capable of making travel decisions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
